The importance of skills acquired by MUN
Our Mission
Our NGO's mission is to expand young people's horizons and give them the tools to reach their maximum potential. Let's do this through a fun project that aims to win a debate at MUN. But for them to win this debate they will need to acquire new skills and knowledge. For example, UN procedure, how to dress so people take you seriously, public speaking, negotiation strategies, history, geography, geopolitics and several other things that are crucial for anyone who wants to win a debate.
Strategy
Our strategy is to select the best students academically from the public network who have the ambition to learn skills that are outside the school teaching standard. After the selection process, our group of volunteers will teach classes on Saturdays preparing and teaching the skills and rules for students to participate in the conferences. In our classes we will teach formal MUN debate techniques but also social, economic and cultural skills to make you feel prepared for the future.
Our Method: MUN
Along with the debate process at MUN conferences come many crucial lessons for training young adults. These lessons include: Negotiation skills, working in a team, studied and prepared, having a strong oratory or knowing how to speak in public, confidence and formality All these qualities are vital to form agents of change as they offer skills that are only acquired with experience of life.

Partnerships
Travel and conferences have a high cost, as both tickets and accommodation will be paid for by the NGO. To do this, we need partners who believe in this project and finance these students who could never make this type of trip on their own. We will be monitoring and providing all the support necessary for the trip to be a success.
