I found out about the the NGO Nada É Impossível through the recommendation of my old English teacher, Fabíola.

The NGO is a very welcoming place, in the first few days there I learned a lot.

My biggest obstacles were the place where I live, because despite actually knowing English, I had no one nor anywhere to practice, however, at the NGO I can do this very effectively.

Leadership is my passion since I’m ten, I have been a member of the school board for 5 years, I founded the student guild and I held the position of president, was also one of the writers of the P.P.P reform (pedagogical political project). Like everyone else, i also have difficulties in public speaking, but when isn’t in my first language, everything turns more hard, but i held it as a challenge.

My principal suggested 2 students to the NGO, and i was one of them. Since the first meeting, i have loved and i have only to thank”

The program is a great opportunity to improve my English, increase my self-confidence and be in contact with people who share their knowledge. And I hope to be able to share what I'm learning.”

  • Maria

“My name is Maria Eduarda, I'm 12 years old, I live with my mother and grandmother and through a project called Outreach that exists at Graded school, I received an invitation to join Nada é Impossivel. I believe that this invitation was only possible because I had already been through a very rigorous progression of tests and evaluations that I put a lot of effort into; after all, dedication and the search for excellent grades are also essential for this project. I'm a girl who dreams of a great future, I've always enjoyed reading about everything, history, astrology, current affairs and I try to take advantage of opportunities in the best possible way. Being in the ONG Nada é Impossivel is an opportunity to learn a lot, socialize and get closer and closer to one day being a diplomat, which is what I want to be today.”

  • Ariadne

“My name is Ariadne, I'm 13 years old and I was born in São Paulo. I'm a 9th grade student at Colégio Objetivo. In 2020 I joined an English course (Outreach Program) for a scholarship at Graded School. I have the courage to say that it was the best decision of my life, it even helped me to find several other programs with incredible people who welcomed me to continue succeeding in pursuing my dreams, like the NGO Nada é Impossivel, and every minute is worth it. I consider myself and have heard from many people that I am a very persistent girl, and I never give up on what I want. One of the things I'm most proud of is my website about chronic diseases, whose aim was to raise awareness of how these illnesses affect quality of life and offer reasons for people to adopt healthier habits. I also saw it as a way of first connecting with the health sector, which I want to study in the future. I like to play sports like volleyball, and I did gymnastics for five years”

  • Lina

“My nome is Lina and i'm 14 years old. I study in a public school, which has a different pedagogical project than the traditional one. I found out about the project from a friend who started going to meetings. Personally, I really like debates and I found the meetings about MUN super interesting. I believe that one of the biggest difficulties is because it's in English, but the meetings help a lot with this.”

  • Sophia

“I am Ana Sophia Santiago V. I'm 12 years old and I study at a school run by American Christian missionaries called UNASP São Paulo, located in Capão Redondo. I love studying, learning, acting, dancing, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite subjects are Science, History, and Portuguese. For the last two years, I have been trying to earn a scholarship at Graded School. As I work really hard as a student, when I grow up, I plan to become a doctor because I care about people's health and lifestyle.

It has always been my mom and me at home. My mom works really hard as a teacher to ensure my education and provide for all our needs. Life has not been easy for us, but with a lot of work and dedication, I have become a great student. Joining the NGO Nada é Impossível helped me increase my self-confidence, improve my English language skills, and learn a lot about geopolitics. I am really happy to be a part of the Nada é Impossível Project."
